The funny thing is that it kind of is!

Had the E46 not had the rear subframe issues and the possible engine issues it would have been one of the best cars ever made.

Fuck even with those issues had they made an E46 M3 sedan it would be the best overall car of all time.

It handles better than the E9X M3 and it's a lot more practical than a 911.

If BMW had sold it in brown sedan format with no sunroof then everyone on Oppo would be looking for that car right now.

Haha yeah you may have liked it. Imagine E46 M3 wagon! That would have been sweet too.

You're gonna laugh at this - I never realized until last week how fast the E46 really is. When you floor it you have to put extra pressure once it's floored to get past a catch point (like in a car with a slushbox). I never realized that as the E90 doesn't do that. When you actually floor it all the way it's crazy fast. It *feels* faster than the 997. I know it's not as the 997 has a little more power and is lighter. So I guess the E46 feels faster because of SMG.

Nice, the M5 is so damn pretty. I don't even care that it's too quiet and has fake engine noise. It's still classy as fuck. Your Dad should buy one!

If they did list it and it was worth $50K I would be at that dealer tomorrow trying to buy it for $45K. Who cares if it's broken 3/4 of the time. It would be a nice looking Ferrari for under $50K! It could always be turned into furniture...
